Safety
COVID-19 Updates are available on our Facebook and Instagram Pages. We will keep you updated through those channels on our new safety procedures to protect you during this time of concern.
Here at Dallas Skydive Center we take not only our safety, but our customer’s safety as our number one priority. We use the same tandem skydive equipment the U.S. Special forces use, inspected by our very own FAA Certified Rigger. To top it off, all of our parachutes are packed by our top of the line packers. We want to make sure you have fun while skydiving safely.
Check out the USPA’s website about safety USPA Stands for United States Parachute Association, this is the organization that regulates skydiving in the United States. The USPA is a great tool to learn all about skydiving and safety in the sport!
For the safety of our instructors, pilots, and of course, our customers, Dallas Skydive Center does not tandem skydive in weather conditions we determine to be not safe. This can include high winds, low clouds, freezing temperatures, and/or extremely hot temperatures. Our customer’s safety comes above all else.
Dallas Skydive Center reserves the right to refuse service to anyone due to safety reasons, i.e. anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs, anyone whose body shape/size does not allow the tandem harness to not be properly adjusted to their body, or anyone we feel should not skydive due to medical reasons.
If you have any questions about whether you are physically fit to skydive, we suggest contacting your medical provider.
